About Us

Preferred Plaster was established in 1988 as a two man operation that today has a base in Caloundra and employs 30 permanent staff and approximately 40 long term contractor gangs.

Our continual pursuit of quality led us to commit to an apprenticeship training program in 1994, resulting in Preferred currently employing 5 apprentices and have a base of subcontractors and employees that are largely in-house trained.

Our business motto "THE SERVICE YOU EXPECT, THE QUALITY YOU PREFER" is something we put at the forefront of every decision we make from upper management to 1st year apprentice onsite. We strive to offer a level of service from initial consultation through to pre-paint service that meets your expectations and enhances the reputation of your business and product.

We cater to a very diverse customer base including one of the oldest project builders in Queensland, many smaller family based builders, large architectural projects as well as servicing the small to medium commercial sector, Preferred currently services the two largest volume builders on the Sunshine Coast and have the ability and man power to service any new enquiry.

We do it better through innovative management, safety and quality assurance systems. Speedy quote returns, reliable specialist trades and a dedicated maintenance team that is able to respond to clients demands.

PREFERRED PLASTER, doing it better tomorrow.
